v1.0.50

Animated project backgrounds

AI Projects now remembers your workspaces and can show animated desktop backgrounds, and the hex and text editors handle remote files more reliably.

Added

  • Animated desktop backgrounds in AI Projects: liquid plasma, Helix Sequencer and a cinematic orrery.
  • AI Projects restores your workspaces on restart and locks open projects.

Improved

  • Background effects pause while the window is inactive, and plasma and helix rendering is faster.
  • Project panel function keys have been remapped.
  • The hex editor checks that a remote file can be opened before trying to show it.
  • The text editor is better at telling a truly empty file from one it can't measure.
